Estimated prices are breed estimated and based on a well behaved, professionally groomed dog on a 6-8 week cycle…

Bath & Brush to include:

Shampoo and conditioner, blow dry, nail trimming, ear cleaning, pad cleaning, hygiene area tidy.
(A Bath & Brush groom does not include any clipping, scissoring, deshedding, styling or dematting)

Full grooms include:

Soft and gentle shampoos: that are the right shampoo for the coat. I use a variety of shampoos which are specifically designed for dogs coat. Most are all natural from Whal, Groom Professional and Bugalugs.
Conditioner: I use a really gentle nourishing conditioner that really helps soften the coat and helps ease the brushing between grooms.
Blow drying: I dry the coat according to your dog’s tolerance. Usually using a high-velocity dryer in the first instance and a gentle stand or hand held dryer on the head and face and if your dog is nervous, I’ll towel dry the face and head.
Nail trimming and pad cleaning: Often pads can get clogged up with dirt and mud, so after washing, I use scissors or trimmers to clean in between the pads. I will always attempt to trim nails and if your dog is anxious I may try treats!. If your dog is too distressed to have its nails trimmed, then I may recommend nail trimming by a vet. It’s always best to handle the paws and toes regularly at home between grooms to desensitise your dog to help the process.
Ear cleaning: included in the groom, I use whal ear cleaning solution.
Styling: I love styling pure breeds to breed standard and cross breeds such as cockapoos and doodles to the owners request.
Clipping and scissoring: head, body, legs, feet and tail. I also tidy the ‘hygiene’ area to help keep the dog from feeling uncomfortable and staying fresh between grooms.

Timings depend on condition of coat, how regularly your dog is professionally groomed/groomed at home and breed. I will be able to discuss this with you when you drop your dog off. Giving you a better idea of how long they’ll be.

Puppy grooms to include:

I offer puppy grooms from 3-6 months, this is an introductory appointment, to encourage puppies to become used to environment and process. It is the ideal opportunity for your puppy to get acquainted with the noises and smells of the salon so that they have a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the salon, ready for a lifetime of regular grooming.

Puppies must have had their vaccinations before coming into the salon for the first time.

Matted dogs

Matted dogs will incur an extra dematting fee which starts at an extra £10+.

Fleas

I cannot accept any dogs with fleas. Please read my flea policy

Janine’s Dog Grooming is a fully insured salon.

Payment is either cash or card and is paid on collection of your dog. I have a contactless card machine for your connivence.
