Hi, I’m Janine and I’m City & Guilds Level 2 and Level 3 qualified in Dog Grooming. I am also Pet First Aid Trained.
I decided to become a dog groomer after getting my West Highland Terrier Tricky, I was fascinated in how the dog groomers transformed him from looking like a little scruff bag, to beautifully white and smelling wonderful, so I decided to find out! I enrolled at The College of Animal Welfare to study the basics and fell in love with the profession. So I stayed on and completed my level 3 then went mobile, working for PetFace in Lincolnshire. After a while I decided to relocate back to my home county and opened up my very own business ‘Janine’s Dog Grooming’ where, for the last 3 years I have worked from a couple of different salons at Broyle Place Farm in Ringmer then at Horam Manor Farm. But I have now invested in a purpose built grooming pod located in Ridgewood, Uckfield where I am taking on new clients, so I hope to see you and all your gorgeous doggos very soon!
